Shelmark entered the marketplace in February 2000 and has grown to one of the largest engineering firms in Galveston County. Located in Texas City, Texas; Shelmark provides engineering services to coastal communities along the entire Texas Gulf Coast. Shelmark is committed and maintains a “hands on” relationship with our clients which includes the public and private sector.
Shelmark Engineering’s ability to recognize and understand the problematic aspects of individual coastal communities is why we are consistently able to deliver cost effective and constructable projects. These factors include environmental constraints and critical habitats with federal/state regulatory permitting processes; meteorological factors (high winds and flood loads) from storm events: floodplain management and mitigation: unique soil characteristics and conditions; and taxed and aged existing infrastructure systems. |
